Bauhaus

Bauhaus

The Staatliches Bauhaus also known as just "Bauhaus" was an influential German art school operational from 1919-1933 that combined general arts and crafts with the fine arts. This school later became famous for its approach to design, which aimed to unify an individual's artistic vision with form being inspired by the principles of mass production and industrial design as an emphasis on function. Out of the 15 years they taught there were only a total of 1,250 students and out of those 1,250; only 155 graduated with a Bauhaus Diploma. Bauhaus style became one of the most influential currents in modern art, design, and architecture.

The Bauhaus Movement is survived by six buildings associated with the art school at the time and in 1996-2017 they were all added as World Heritage Sites as a protected capsule of history.

My interpretation of the Bauhaus style now available with the Bauhaus Inspired Collection.
